Spidey senses tingling...mwahaha!

Who's having the best week ever??

That's right...ME!!

Yes, this birthday week has probably been the best one I've ever had...I guess that's why they call it SWEET SIXTEEN.

I'll recap, since I've been so busy lately...

Monday- Parent Meeting with the Gifted teacher...yowza. I got in deep trouble there...my mom is STILL mad at me for that.

Tuesday- I posted here.

Wednesday- THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!
I went to school, all excited and such...I got tons of birthday wishes, it was awesome. Then, after school, I had a softball game and I got to play...YAY!! Except...we lost anyways. But never fear! I got cupcakes and COOKIES! Yes, it was good.
Then, I went off to my last meeting of YAG until September. Good news, I was elected as a treasurer for my delegation. Better news? We went out for ICE CREAM! Best news? I got to see that guy I mentioned once...yeah, we're kind of dating, but we're not doing the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing yet. So I dunno what to call him. I've been referring to him as my "person." (Yes, including the airquotes!) But we had a great time. BEST birthday ever.

Thursday- Nothing special I can remember...I played again in softball...I hope it becomes a normal thing. Oh yeah, and I was hit by a pitch. Haha, I'm getting hit all over the place.

Friday- Softball practice for my dad. *Officially getting tired of softball by this point*

Saturday- Softball practice for my dad, again *VERY tired of softball by now*
But after that, I had my DATE. Yeah, my date with...okay, so I'll call him Carlos. ;)
We went to see Spiderman 3. Good movie, if not dorky. Too much crying. I had a great time with Carlos and he even met my dad...haha, talk about awkward. But don't worry, I'll keep you guys updated.

Sunday- THIRD SOFTBALL PRACTICE for my Dad. I am SO SICK of softball now. And I made sure everyone knew it too. XD

Well, hopefully if I haven't dropped dead by the amount of softball games I have in the coming week, I'll get posts in.

Kick some serious ass, and don't forget to take names

Holy shiza. I can't believe we did that. I won't keep you in suspense...but today...(Dramatic pause)...I quit fastpitch softball. I'll start at the beginning. Yesterday we had our first official slowpitch game (aka for my father's team). I went, because honestly--how can you not go to your own father's game? Not to mention, the fastpitch game was a make-up that we didn't know about until last week. So we--my older sister Devyn, a friend of mine named Ashley--went to our slowpitch game. After all, my dad needed us and we would've had to forfeit if we didn't have enough girls to play. So we sort of ditched the fastpitch game. But it was NBD, seriously. Ashley NEVER plays in a fastpitch game. She sits the bench EVERY game, yet shows up for every practice, all the time. So naturally she's going to go to the game where she gets a chance to play, and not to mention she's good at it. My sister, on the other hand, is a senior. She's paid her dues. S...

Just another Monday

I took some pictures today, figuring I knew that I wouldn't feel up to posting something gigantic. And I'm not. We had another softball game this afternoon, and even though I played for about...3½ minutes, I'm still wiped from having to spend the entire game on my feet (and add that up to my day and school, and it's cause for exhaustion). My 3½ minutes in the spotlight was when my coach decided that we were losing bad enough (We lost 17-10 or something like that) that it wouldn't do any harm to put the Junior Varsity Princess (aka moi, if you're that thick) into the game. The batter's box, to be precise. I guess I wasn't good enough to defend the field. :( Whatever. So, I must've been a lot more nervous than I thought I was, because everyone kept telling me to relax. I didn't feel nervous, but when I struck out (I went down swingin', ya bastards!) and returned to the dugout, I realized that my hands were shaking. Well, here are the pictures.....

Go on and lose it

"Everybody makes mistakes/Everybody has those days..." -Hannah Montana Yeah Miss Montana? Well, I doubt you've had the day I've had. Enter: Wake up at 6:00 in the morning on a Saturday. Get in the shower, dress, and eat breakfast. Wonder why I'm up so early? I have a Youth and Government shindig. I get ready to go, and then wake my dad up at 7:30 and tell him we should go soon. I have to be there by 9 am, and it's about a half-hour away. That translates to an hour or so with me driving (still on my permit, so Dad has to come) and the fact that we don't exactly know where the Anita Tuvin Schlecter building is. I drove fine on the way there, no one died. =) We get there, and we were kind of lost--but that wasn't that big of deal. We were still early and we found the place all right. I also found my friend from Y&G who had told me what was going on today. We stood outside the ATS building...and it was locked. There wasn't a soul in sight. Me: ...
