So today, the world shifted slightly. I have been chugging away at this book called The Book Thief , by Markus Zusak, over the last couple weeks. I finished it tonight. It was very, very good. So good, that for the last, oh, I don't know, 50 PAGES of the book, I was crying heavily onto my t-shirt. I was a wreck, really. I was so teary , snotty , and gaspy that I scared the crap out of my mother and sisters. My mom was so worried that she asked to see the book when I was finished. My older sister couldn't believe that I was actually crying over a book . I'm completely serious--and I don't regret blubbering over it. I feel as if it was a life-altering story. It took me ten minutes or so to compose myself. I rise in support of this book. I recommend it for you. I just don't recommend it for young children. They might not understand.
