no body but your body

Hey y'all...yeaaaaaahhh!

I'm just hanging out in my bed right now, yes, right now, at 1:15 in the AM, since this is the absolute latest I can stay up on Saturday nights nowadays without completely losing my mind monday morning at school!

Just watching some youtube videos, reading, shopping, generally being overall unproductive. Scratching my leg (which needs shaving), itching my head (which needs washing), and looking around my room in utter disbelief that I've actually been living here for the past couple days. (If you haven't already figured it out, it needs some SERIOUS cleaning.)

I don't really want to sleep. I'm actually wishing that I had copious amounts of energy (or drugs*) so that I can do all the things that I aspire to, when I'm just sitting here in front of my little buddy, Kaz. Yeah, I named my laptop. If you were wondering what Kaz is supposed to stand for, it's an acronym for Kick Ass Zombie. As in this laptop rocks.

deep breath, people.

*Just kidding. I avoid drugs at all costs.

YOUR 2008 NL EAST CHAMPIONS ARE...

Yaaaaayyy...my Phillies are the NL East champions once again! Last Year: This Year: w00t!

Just another Monday

I took some pictures today, figuring I knew that I wouldn't feel up to posting something gigantic. And I'm not. We had another softball game this afternoon, and even though I played for about...3½ minutes, I'm still wiped from having to spend the entire game on my feet (and add that up to my day and school, and it's cause for exhaustion). My 3½ minutes in the spotlight was when my coach decided that we were losing bad enough (We lost 17-10 or something like that) that it wouldn't do any harm to put the Junior Varsity Princess (aka moi, if you're that thick) into the game. The batter's box, to be precise. I guess I wasn't good enough to defend the field. :( Whatever. So, I must've been a lot more nervous than I thought I was, because everyone kept telling me to relax. I didn't feel nervous, but when I struck out (I went down swingin', ya bastards!) and returned to the dugout, I realized that my hands were shaking. Well, here are the pictures.....

A Lesson That Needed Re-Learned

Okay. So The Queen learned a very valuable lesson yesterday. You DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS. Obviously, everyone learns this lesson from the age of 5, when your father asks you, "What do you do if some strange man asks you to help him find his lost puppy?" And then, you so enthusiastically respond, "You kick him in his privates and say NOOOOOOOOOO!!" Well, at least that's how I learned. And so when a young woman (couldn't be any older than my older sister) came to my door yesterday and asked questions about when my mother would be home, questions about the other kids in the neighborhood...I did the completely WRONG thing to do. I answered her questions and thought nothing of it. I didn't think her out-of-state license plates were all that threatening. I didn't think that her black (with polka dots) galoshes (similar to these ) were all that threatening. I figured she was just another one of those annoying Youth For Christ advocates asking if I w...
