FIRST BLOGDAY

Ugh, today I'm feeling sick. All day long, I mope through the next class thinking "If I just make it through 3 more periods...2 more periods...1 more period..." The Cold Queen rides again.

And it's a shame, (and bad for my grade point average) but today I fell asleep in Prob and Stat. Yeah, that's probably the WORST class to fall asleep in, considering how behind I am with PSSA testing and all that jazz, but I couldn't even keep my head up. Now I have to study our material double time because we have a quiz tomorrow. Ridiculous.

I remember last year I talked--WAIT A MINUTE. I JUST NOW realized that I have had this blog (on and off, it changed often and it's not like I post every day) FOR A YEAR and 26 days!

YAY FOR TLPA! I'm excited. Now I just realized that I've survived the blogosphere! My first post was on March 13th of last year, and even then I had been blogging for a few months on another site I later abandoned. Here's a look back:

Tuesday, March 13

Sucked back in.

Yeah. Turns out Blogger has a hook stuck in me. I tried Blogdrive and Wordpress, (in one day, no less!) but I just couldn't get the hang of it. So here I am, at 2:16 in the morning, confessing my fears (not many), hopes (endless), dreams (having none, since I'm obviously not asleep).

I did make it a bit harder for anyone (who I don't want to read this) to find me, however. It's just one of those necessary safety precautions you take because although they are sure as hell inconvenient, they might just save your ass later on.

Pay no notice to this minor bump in the road. Posts will be back to their quirky selves on Tuesday. Yeah, I know. Technically it is Tuesday. I just mean later.

I can't say I've prospered, per se, but I survived a year. That's a big deal for me considering I normally give up everything once I get bored with it. I'm so happy right now. This is awesome!

No, what I was going to say before I remembered that important bit of information was that Last year, I talked about how I went to Model Convention for Youth and Government in April. Well, that time of year has come around again. And LAST year I promised to both descriptions of the über-trendy clothes I was going to rock all weekend at the capitol.

Needless to say, I didn't follow through. Hopefully I can fire up the old digital camera and get to steppin' on showing you my wardrobe for this year. And believe me, I'm going to be a little better prepared--last year I had to have my sister run me some clothes. That won't happen this year. I have an officer position at stake here, and I BETTER LOOK PRETTY DAMN PROFESSIONAL! (And good. I can't forget looking good. =)

Well, I'll be around. Please comment! I know I'm an infrequent commenter, but I'm trying hard to juggle everything AND make time for reading the blogs that I love. I really do appreciate all of you who DO read my blog, and thanks for being there. =)

Happy Blogday!!!
It's funny to look back at old blog entries. Mine old posts are really dumb, but I got the hang of it after a while. Haha. Sorry you're feeling sluggish and that you fell asleep in class! OMG, that must've been embarrassing! Hope you feel better.

Kick some serious ass, and don't forget to take names

Holy shiza. I can't believe we did that. I won't keep you in suspense...but today...(Dramatic pause)...I quit fastpitch softball. I'll start at the beginning. Yesterday we had our first official slowpitch game (aka for my father's team). I went, because honestly--how can you not go to your own father's game? Not to mention, the fastpitch game was a make-up that we didn't know about until last week. So we--my older sister Devyn, a friend of mine named Ashley--went to our slowpitch game. After all, my dad needed us and we would've had to forfeit if we didn't have enough girls to play. So we sort of ditched the fastpitch game. But it was NBD, seriously. Ashley NEVER plays in a fastpitch game. She sits the bench EVERY game, yet shows up for every practice, all the time. So naturally she's going to go to the game where she gets a chance to play, and not to mention she's good at it. My sister, on the other hand, is a senior. She's paid her dues. S...

Just another Monday

I took some pictures today, figuring I knew that I wouldn't feel up to posting something gigantic. And I'm not. We had another softball game this afternoon, and even though I played for about...3½ minutes, I'm still wiped from having to spend the entire game on my feet (and add that up to my day and school, and it's cause for exhaustion). My 3½ minutes in the spotlight was when my coach decided that we were losing bad enough (We lost 17-10 or something like that) that it wouldn't do any harm to put the Junior Varsity Princess (aka moi, if you're that thick) into the game. The batter's box, to be precise. I guess I wasn't good enough to defend the field. :( Whatever. So, I must've been a lot more nervous than I thought I was, because everyone kept telling me to relax. I didn't feel nervous, but when I struck out (I went down swingin', ya bastards!) and returned to the dugout, I realized that my hands were shaking. Well, here are the pictures.....

Go on and lose it

"Everybody makes mistakes/Everybody has those days..." -Hannah Montana Yeah Miss Montana? Well, I doubt you've had the day I've had. Enter: Wake up at 6:00 in the morning on a Saturday. Get in the shower, dress, and eat breakfast. Wonder why I'm up so early? I have a Youth and Government shindig. I get ready to go, and then wake my dad up at 7:30 and tell him we should go soon. I have to be there by 9 am, and it's about a half-hour away. That translates to an hour or so with me driving (still on my permit, so Dad has to come) and the fact that we don't exactly know where the Anita Tuvin Schlecter building is. I drove fine on the way there, no one died. =) We get there, and we were kind of lost--but that wasn't that big of deal. We were still early and we found the place all right. I also found my friend from Y&G who had told me what was going on today. We stood outside the ATS building...and it was locked. There wasn't a soul in sight. Me: ...
