Pretzels

So I was in a pretty pissy mood today. That is, until I saw this:

GUESS WHAT PEOPLE...those are my pretzels!

I was extremely bored the other day, so I spelled it out and sent a picture to John Green (very famous author) and he used the picture in his video!

Hoo hah, nerdfighters!

Seriously? That is awesome! I will now be spending the rest of the day selling books pondering how I can get on Brotherhood 2.0

OMG... NERD ALERT!!

Sorry, but I just couldn't take this dude. He was funny and all, but he looked like he was high on Meth.

I understood every nook and cranny of his wit, but jeez, everything was in fast forward.

The House of the Flying Hats

Okay. Sorry about that, everyone. I often go through phases where I want to change anything and everything, and I don't always think it through beforehand. It's like, I HAVE TO CHANGE THIS NOW!--but I never consider what I actually want something to look like until everything's completely different. So I didn't have any other ideas. And besides, could I ever really stop being the Queen? Honestly? That's a no. Today's post is about my Dad. He's the father of four daughters, and faithfully married for 21 years. We have a girl dog as well. So my Dad is constantly surrounded by women. Everywhere. Estrogen abounds! I'm probably the closest thing he has to a son. I'm a bit of a tomboy when I want to be, and I know how to really get in his head and make him angry. We're sort of...buddies. Getting to the point...one thing's for sure, my Dad loves his hats. He wears them all the time. He's got a chronic case of hat head. To be specific, they...

A Lesson That Needed Re-Learned

Okay. So The Queen learned a very valuable lesson yesterday. You DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS. Obviously, everyone learns this lesson from the age of 5, when your father asks you, "What do you do if some strange man asks you to help him find his lost puppy?" And then, you so enthusiastically respond, "You kick him in his privates and say NOOOOOOOOOO!!" Well, at least that's how I learned. And so when a young woman (couldn't be any older than my older sister) came to my door yesterday and asked questions about when my mother would be home, questions about the other kids in the neighborhood...I did the completely WRONG thing to do. I answered her questions and thought nothing of it. I didn't think her out-of-state license plates were all that threatening. I didn't think that her black (with polka dots) galoshes (similar to these ) were all that threatening. I figured she was just another one of those annoying Youth For Christ advocates asking if I w...

Just another Monday

I took some pictures today, figuring I knew that I wouldn't feel up to posting something gigantic. And I'm not. We had another softball game this afternoon, and even though I played for about...3½ minutes, I'm still wiped from having to spend the entire game on my feet (and add that up to my day and school, and it's cause for exhaustion). My 3½ minutes in the spotlight was when my coach decided that we were losing bad enough (We lost 17-10 or something like that) that it wouldn't do any harm to put the Junior Varsity Princess (aka moi, if you're that thick) into the game. The batter's box, to be precise. I guess I wasn't good enough to defend the field. :( Whatever. So, I must've been a lot more nervous than I thought I was, because everyone kept telling me to relax. I didn't feel nervous, but when I struck out (I went down swingin', ya bastards!) and returned to the dugout, I realized that my hands were shaking. Well, here are the pictures.....
