HOLES, or, Stuff I've left out

New phrase: This is garbage. Everything is.

(I.E. garbage = not cool)

I feel that it is necessary to post about the things I've been leaving out in my blogs over the past couple weeks--aka the holes I've left in my posts.

Hole #1:
My AP History homework that was due the first day of school...yeah, I ended up getting that massive assignment done. Now I'm in ONE AP class. Not bad. It's sort of hard, but only because there isn't a clear-cut learning...thing. Like, it's not organized. He throws the info at us, we tak notes, and we get tests. Just...yeah.

Hole #2:
Yes, I am a Junior in high school. YES, I AM ON THE JV FIELD HOCKEY TEAM. You think I haven't figured out how pitiful this is? Might as well rename myself the "Junior Varsity Queen." Severe garbage. It's still a sore subject with me. But whatever.

Hole #3:
I make bracelets out of toothbrushes. They're either a major fashion no-no, or incredibly creative. I've gotten a mixed bag of reactions. Some people think it's cool, others look at me and ask, "EWWmyGOD, is THAT a TOOTHBRUSH?!?"
"Uhh, yes?"
*Weirded out/disgusted/amazed face*
They're not hard to make--pluck the bristles, boil, bend. Voila! I didn't try to start a trend. I just liked the way they looked. *Shrug*

Hole #4:
I'm not sick anymore. Turns out everyone got sick within the 1st-3rd week of school. It's a "being in close quarters with people you haven't seen in a while" thing. I got over it quick.

Hole #5:
Tessie, my poodle, is fine. She just had a 'pooper problem.' Haha, sorry. But I couldn't find a better way to explain that without sounding any more ridiculous. Fluffy Butt's okay, even if she did have to get a hair-cut. I hate when they shave her. But oh well...she'll be fluffy again by November.

(← Once was fluffy, now is not.)

Hole #6:
Sorry that I waited until my last hole to report on this, but I didn't exactly know what to say. But it's about that crush of mine from French II. Long story short, I like him. His friends figure it out. His friends tell him--and tell me that they've told him. And we haven't exactly reached the stage after that. It just kind of spilled out on Thursday and Friday. I guess that I have to wait until tomorrow to update you, since I don't really know what's going on at this point.
What's funny, however, is how all this drama is making me feel like middle school again. What can a girl do? Haha. I know! She can keep her mouth SHUT!

All right, well that's it. I hope I've filled you in a bit. I have more field hockey and boatloads of homework to do this week, so I'll see ya around. =)

Kick some serious ass, and don't forget to take names

Holy shiza. I can't believe we did that. I won't keep you in suspense...but today...(Dramatic pause)...I quit fastpitch softball. I'll start at the beginning. Yesterday we had our first official slowpitch game (aka for my father's team). I went, because honestly--how can you not go to your own father's game? Not to mention, the fastpitch game was a make-up that we didn't know about until last week. So we--my older sister Devyn, a friend of mine named Ashley--went to our slowpitch game. After all, my dad needed us and we would've had to forfeit if we didn't have enough girls to play. So we sort of ditched the fastpitch game. But it was NBD, seriously. Ashley NEVER plays in a fastpitch game. She sits the bench EVERY game, yet shows up for every practice, all the time. So naturally she's going to go to the game where she gets a chance to play, and not to mention she's good at it. My sister, on the other hand, is a senior. She's paid her dues. S...

Just another Monday

I took some pictures today, figuring I knew that I wouldn't feel up to posting something gigantic. And I'm not. We had another softball game this afternoon, and even though I played for about...3½ minutes, I'm still wiped from having to spend the entire game on my feet (and add that up to my day and school, and it's cause for exhaustion). My 3½ minutes in the spotlight was when my coach decided that we were losing bad enough (We lost 17-10 or something like that) that it wouldn't do any harm to put the Junior Varsity Princess (aka moi, if you're that thick) into the game. The batter's box, to be precise. I guess I wasn't good enough to defend the field. :( Whatever. So, I must've been a lot more nervous than I thought I was, because everyone kept telling me to relax. I didn't feel nervous, but when I struck out (I went down swingin', ya bastards!) and returned to the dugout, I realized that my hands were shaking. Well, here are the pictures.....

Go on and lose it

"Everybody makes mistakes/Everybody has those days..." -Hannah Montana Yeah Miss Montana? Well, I doubt you've had the day I've had. Enter: Wake up at 6:00 in the morning on a Saturday. Get in the shower, dress, and eat breakfast. Wonder why I'm up so early? I have a Youth and Government shindig. I get ready to go, and then wake my dad up at 7:30 and tell him we should go soon. I have to be there by 9 am, and it's about a half-hour away. That translates to an hour or so with me driving (still on my permit, so Dad has to come) and the fact that we don't exactly know where the Anita Tuvin Schlecter building is. I drove fine on the way there, no one died. =) We get there, and we were kind of lost--but that wasn't that big of deal. We were still early and we found the place all right. I also found my friend from Y&G who had told me what was going on today. We stood outside the ATS building...and it was locked. There wasn't a soul in sight. Me: ...
