And they all lived happily ever after

Well, today didn't feel like my life. It almost felt like I had stepped out of my own shoes, and into...Marcia Brady's. It was filled with pleasant little events that I know I seriously took for granted.

I woke up late, due to the fact that I was up until 3 am running a stupid virus scan on this thing--little sisters just don't know how to stay off of virus-ridden sites.

When I finally woke up, I chilled. Pretty much all day.

Then, towards the late afternoon, we convinced my mother to go miniature golfing with myself, my sisters, my sister's boyfriend, and his cousin. The ride there sucked, but the actually golfing wasn't so bad. Things just get tense with my family because two of us are always fighting.
We went home, my mother made this awesome-tasting dinner, and once we'd digested, we had a nice, family oriented game of volleyball. How lovely, right?

Then we watched the Phillies play the Nationals and win in 14 innings...Ryan Howard hit a walk-off two-run homer into the upper decks.

As much fun as today was, I think I'm read to step back into The Queen's shoes tomorrow. Forget Marcia Brady, HOLA LA REINALEXA!

PS- I need the sequel to Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer.

The thing about my computer is that no matter how much it pisses me off I am completely dependent.

You read Stephanie Meyer? Part of me really hates those books, but I still read them. Did you know there's a third one coming out? In September I think.

*whisper back* My daddy doesn't buy my books anymore... ;)

Funny you should mention Twilight, I just picked that up at the library today!

Hola! Sounds like a good day. I love mini golf, and pitch n' put. Awesome.

I thought I liked We Are Scientists, too. But live, they were nothing special. Kinda blah.

Kick some serious ass, and don't forget to take names

Holy shiza. I can't believe we did that. I won't keep you in suspense...but today...(Dramatic pause)...I quit fastpitch softball. I'll start at the beginning. Yesterday we had our first official slowpitch game (aka for my father's team). I went, because honestly--how can you not go to your own father's game? Not to mention, the fastpitch game was a make-up that we didn't know about until last week. So we--my older sister Devyn, a friend of mine named Ashley--went to our slowpitch game. After all, my dad needed us and we would've had to forfeit if we didn't have enough girls to play. So we sort of ditched the fastpitch game. But it was NBD, seriously. Ashley NEVER plays in a fastpitch game. She sits the bench EVERY game, yet shows up for every practice, all the time. So naturally she's going to go to the game where she gets a chance to play, and not to mention she's good at it. My sister, on the other hand, is a senior. She's paid her dues. S...

Just another Monday

I took some pictures today, figuring I knew that I wouldn't feel up to posting something gigantic. And I'm not. We had another softball game this afternoon, and even though I played for about...3½ minutes, I'm still wiped from having to spend the entire game on my feet (and add that up to my day and school, and it's cause for exhaustion). My 3½ minutes in the spotlight was when my coach decided that we were losing bad enough (We lost 17-10 or something like that) that it wouldn't do any harm to put the Junior Varsity Princess (aka moi, if you're that thick) into the game. The batter's box, to be precise. I guess I wasn't good enough to defend the field. :( Whatever. So, I must've been a lot more nervous than I thought I was, because everyone kept telling me to relax. I didn't feel nervous, but when I struck out (I went down swingin', ya bastards!) and returned to the dugout, I realized that my hands were shaking. Well, here are the pictures.....

Go on and lose it

"Everybody makes mistakes/Everybody has those days..." -Hannah Montana Yeah Miss Montana? Well, I doubt you've had the day I've had. Enter: Wake up at 6:00 in the morning on a Saturday. Get in the shower, dress, and eat breakfast. Wonder why I'm up so early? I have a Youth and Government shindig. I get ready to go, and then wake my dad up at 7:30 and tell him we should go soon. I have to be there by 9 am, and it's about a half-hour away. That translates to an hour or so with me driving (still on my permit, so Dad has to come) and the fact that we don't exactly know where the Anita Tuvin Schlecter building is. I drove fine on the way there, no one died. =) We get there, and we were kind of lost--but that wasn't that big of deal. We were still early and we found the place all right. I also found my friend from Y&G who had told me what was going on today. We stood outside the ATS building...and it was locked. There wasn't a soul in sight. Me: ...
