WAR!

I am a girl of many talents.

Today, for instance, I helped my Dad replace our broken dryer. Long and arduous work, let me tell ya. First we disconnected the dryer hose thinga-mabob. We were supposed to rehook it onto the spare dryer we had (yeah, because we just have spare dryers hanging around all the time) but it broke. Lint was everywhere. And well, lint's not supposed to be in the dryer tube thing. It was a fire waiting to happen, basically. It turned an hour job into a 3 hour job.

I worked HARD!!

Yeah, taking a dryer down the stairs is a pain in the back. Especially with cramps. :(

Since I did all the work (out of my three sisters and I) I got to do my laundry first! YeaaaahhhH!

My one sister made dinner tonight, so she thinks she has the authority to tell me when I should have my stuff done. YEAH RIGHT! She said to me, "Yeah, well, just make sure you have it all done by Sunday morning, because I have stuff to do."

HELLO? It's 11:00 Saturday night, and I only have ONE load done--out of a possible SEVEN!

Sucha b-i-t-c-h, really. When I came back with, "Okay, sure...I'll try" in my most sarcastic tone, the little gremlin says, "Alexa, shut up. I don't wanna hear it. Just have it done."

I gotta admit, the little witch has got some backbone that I envy, but if she continues to give it to me, I'm gonna continue beating the crap outta her. My dad said he hated how his older brother bullied him when he was younger, but I don't exactly have much of a choice when my YOUNGER sister is the bully. She's got everyone in this family (my dad and I not so much) whipped into tip-toeing around her temper so we can get away from her unscathed. Well, I can't take her shit on a daily basis, so I beat the crap outta her and lie, cheat, and steal to get my way. (Of course, she lies, cheats AND steals first, so I'm merely retaliating. XP)

Yeah, can you believe this is my family?
It is. We've got the whole "mob" personality going on, but we actually fight each other more than other people. It'll be a good day if I don't say a word to the little witch. And you can bet there'll be ice-skating in hell before I show signs of benevolence towards her. I'm tired of being forced by the 'rents to take intiative and start being nicer to her. It's all out war until someone backs down.

WHEW!

Sorry. That was a lot of ranting and raving, and I'm not even all that mad! I'm just in shock sometimes by how much she actually gets away with. But don't worry, I'm done for now.

My sister and I were the same way growing up. Don't cringe, but it's true... we're best buds now. At least, I think so. ;)

It is so annoying when people tell you to be nicer to someone who's CLEARLY the meaner one. It's like "hello, why don't you ask HER to behave?"
My sister and I don't fight much, but when we do... it sucks. I feel your pain!
And thanks for the movie recommendation. I'll definitely check out #23.

Kick some serious ass, and don't forget to take names

Holy shiza. I can't believe we did that. I won't keep you in suspense...but today...(Dramatic pause)...I quit fastpitch softball. I'll start at the beginning. Yesterday we had our first official slowpitch game (aka for my father's team). I went, because honestly--how can you not go to your own father's game? Not to mention, the fastpitch game was a make-up that we didn't know about until last week. So we--my older sister Devyn, a friend of mine named Ashley--went to our slowpitch game. After all, my dad needed us and we would've had to forfeit if we didn't have enough girls to play. So we sort of ditched the fastpitch game. But it was NBD, seriously. Ashley NEVER plays in a fastpitch game. She sits the bench EVERY game, yet shows up for every practice, all the time. So naturally she's going to go to the game where she gets a chance to play, and not to mention she's good at it. My sister, on the other hand, is a senior. She's paid her dues. S...

Just another Monday

I took some pictures today, figuring I knew that I wouldn't feel up to posting something gigantic. And I'm not. We had another softball game this afternoon, and even though I played for about...3½ minutes, I'm still wiped from having to spend the entire game on my feet (and add that up to my day and school, and it's cause for exhaustion). My 3½ minutes in the spotlight was when my coach decided that we were losing bad enough (We lost 17-10 or something like that) that it wouldn't do any harm to put the Junior Varsity Princess (aka moi, if you're that thick) into the game. The batter's box, to be precise. I guess I wasn't good enough to defend the field. :( Whatever. So, I must've been a lot more nervous than I thought I was, because everyone kept telling me to relax. I didn't feel nervous, but when I struck out (I went down swingin', ya bastards!) and returned to the dugout, I realized that my hands were shaking. Well, here are the pictures.....

Go on and lose it

"Everybody makes mistakes/Everybody has those days..." -Hannah Montana Yeah Miss Montana? Well, I doubt you've had the day I've had. Enter: Wake up at 6:00 in the morning on a Saturday. Get in the shower, dress, and eat breakfast. Wonder why I'm up so early? I have a Youth and Government shindig. I get ready to go, and then wake my dad up at 7:30 and tell him we should go soon. I have to be there by 9 am, and it's about a half-hour away. That translates to an hour or so with me driving (still on my permit, so Dad has to come) and the fact that we don't exactly know where the Anita Tuvin Schlecter building is. I drove fine on the way there, no one died. =) We get there, and we were kind of lost--but that wasn't that big of deal. We were still early and we found the place all right. I also found my friend from Y&G who had told me what was going on today. We stood outside the ATS building...and it was locked. There wasn't a soul in sight. Me: ...
