And it happens.

Well, I didn't exactly stay in my little cabin all weekend. In fact, I went out and did some things. It was a fairly eventful weekend.

Saturday--I got arrested.

Haha, sorry. I'm just kidding. I only used that as something to pull you in. No, in fact, I merely got pulled over. I was going 42 in a 25. How ridiculous is that? The officer asked for my license, and I said, "Errr..." My dad said, "Give her your permit, now..."

I was a bit dazed by the whole thing--I've only had my permit for two months, and I already get pulled over. Okay, so I actually started crying--my dad said if you ever get pulled over, do it--and it was just so crazy, and I was afraid I was going to get locked up or something. I would cry for a minute, then I would burst out laughing. The officer (and my dad) must've thought I was insane. But she didn't fall for the waterworks. I got a written warning, since this was my first offense. Dear God, I'm such a driving school reject.

Then Sunday, I had a family reunion, and birthday party. The family reunion dragged on like the last day of school before Christmas vacation, then I had an hour to nap before my friend's party. I guess it was nice to see people I know from school, but it got boring as hell REALLY fast.

I have a few more things to attend in the coming weeks...this is the building-up...!

Sorry for your driving mishap and police harassment. That bitch shouldn't have written you a damn thing. Women...

As someone who's been managing to dodge the police for 17 years while doing 54 in 25s, I feel for you.

Keep your chin up love, there's plenty more where that came from...

LOL

YOUR 2008 NL EAST CHAMPIONS ARE...

Yaaaaayyy...my Phillies are the NL East champions once again! Last Year: This Year: w00t!

Just another Monday

I took some pictures today, figuring I knew that I wouldn't feel up to posting something gigantic. And I'm not. We had another softball game this afternoon, and even though I played for about...3½ minutes, I'm still wiped from having to spend the entire game on my feet (and add that up to my day and school, and it's cause for exhaustion). My 3½ minutes in the spotlight was when my coach decided that we were losing bad enough (We lost 17-10 or something like that) that it wouldn't do any harm to put the Junior Varsity Princess (aka moi, if you're that thick) into the game. The batter's box, to be precise. I guess I wasn't good enough to defend the field. :( Whatever. So, I must've been a lot more nervous than I thought I was, because everyone kept telling me to relax. I didn't feel nervous, but when I struck out (I went down swingin', ya bastards!) and returned to the dugout, I realized that my hands were shaking. Well, here are the pictures.....

A Lesson That Needed Re-Learned

Okay. So The Queen learned a very valuable lesson yesterday. You DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS. Obviously, everyone learns this lesson from the age of 5, when your father asks you, "What do you do if some strange man asks you to help him find his lost puppy?" And then, you so enthusiastically respond, "You kick him in his privates and say NOOOOOOOOOO!!" Well, at least that's how I learned. And so when a young woman (couldn't be any older than my older sister) came to my door yesterday and asked questions about when my mother would be home, questions about the other kids in the neighborhood...I did the completely WRONG thing to do. I answered her questions and thought nothing of it. I didn't think her out-of-state license plates were all that threatening. I didn't think that her black (with polka dots) galoshes (similar to these ) were all that threatening. I figured she was just another one of those annoying Youth For Christ advocates asking if I w...
